PEN PALS WANTED:
The horses are at Lothlorien are looking for some Pen Pals! Scroll down to read about our horses and write them a letter or draw/paint them a picture, write them a note or a poem, a song, whatever you like.
We'll post it on their stall door AND they'll write you back! The horses would love to hear from you and put up some new decorations on their stalls!
Tell them what you’ve been up to, ask them a question, talk about something you like to do, a fun story or memory.... anything you’d like to write about!

Meet GIMLI.

Meet LUCERO (pronounced Loo-Sear-O). Lucero is an Andalusian.
- Lucero's coloring is called flea-bitten gray, but he's not full of flea bites LOL. Here's a fun page about horse colors.

Meet STONEY. He is a Haflinger.
- Stoney used to pull logs for a living and he wore a harness that looked similar to this.
- By the way, in case you were wondering, Stoney ALWAYS wins when he plays Halter Tag with the other horses at LTRC.
- Believe or not, but Stoney LOVES math. Here's a fun activity about measuring horses. Yes, there's math involved, but Stoney says it's FUN MATH! Give it a try!

Meet TRIGGER
- Trigger is on a special diet. He eats a mixture of oats, beet pulp and alfalfa. Here's a really fun activity that explains how you can make your own horse "treat" to eat and enjoy.
- What did you make for your horse treat? Trigger wants to know. He also thinks you should make these fun, no bake horse cookies.
Meet TUCKER AND TOFFEE
- Tucker is a Shetland Pony and Toffee is a miniature pony and he's the smallest in the barn. But there are even SMALLER ponies out there called Falabella ponies.
