Returning Volunteers: You will be notified about volunteer needs through the group email system. Instructions for filling out forms will be provided by email as well.

New Volunteer Orientations are held several times throughout the season. All new volunteers must attend a New Volunteer Orientation prior to volunteering in a session. No experience necessary. Must be 14 years or older to volunteer.

Application Process

  1. Contact volunteer.ltrc@gmail.com or call 716-655-1335. Minimum age is 14 years old.

  2. New volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation.

  3. If a volunteer is inactive for one year, their paperwork is removed from our files. If you wish to return to volunteering, you will be asked to attend a volunteer orientation again.

LTRC is always seeking volunteers!

We are always looking for new volunteers to add to our tremendous family of helpers!  If you are age 14 or older, interested in horses and helping people, we're a great fit!

Horse leaders are responsible for the horse, tacking up and leading the horse and rider around the ring. Sidewalkers walk next to the rider during the lesson, providing support as needed.

Lessons are offered Monday-Thursday and Saturdays at various times throughout the day and evening. We ask volunteers to commit to a weekly schedule for a 4 or 6 week period.  All new volunteers are required to attend orientation and training.

Please call 716-655-1335 or email for more information today!
